Hemoglobin

Hemoglobin is an iron-rich protein found in red blood cells. It acts as an oxygen transporter from the lungs to the rest of the body, supplying oxygen for cell growth, division, and energy production. Hemoglobin levels indicate the health of red blood cells. Abnormal hemoglobin levels may indicate various blood disorders, such as anemia. [75] [76]
