Brain Health
For brain health, we model and predict the 15-year probability of all cause dementia, defined clinically as a progressive, chronic deterioration of cognitive function associated with an underlying neurodegenerative process. Alzheimer’s disease is reported to account for approximately 70% of all cases, while vascular dementia is reported to account for approximately 15%, with mixed etiologies common.[11][12] The BRG’s brain health domain reports statistical associations between biomarker values and future dementia prevalence (15-year) observed in our research datasets; it does not diagnose dementia, predict whether any individual will develop dementia, or provide cognitive training or other intervention intended to improve, maintain, or restore brain function.
Below are values for our model’s most predictive biomarkers for adverse brain health outcomes in males and females aged 60 to 70.

The tables below contain brain health risk multipliers (RM) for each of the above biomarkers.
